Nowadays, getting kids into
technology is very common because as some people say this new generation is
almost born with technology in its hand. I believe that now the majority of
kids know how to use a cellphone or a computer because they are been taught since
kindergarten and sometimes the kids show adults how to use it.
I do not think
that there is a limit for age or parameter that establishes "this is the
correct age to involve students in technology". I think that as long as a
student is able to understand how to use technology like cellphones or
computers, which are the common device that kids use or that is near for them,
they can start getting involved in technology. In my opinion, the age that
might adequate is around 5 or 6 years old because generally is the age where
they start paying more attention that when they 4 or less. I mean that there
attention spam lasts more time and like I mention before nowadays for kids
results much easier to use technology than some adults.
I have to say that there might not
be like an exactly age for students to get involved in technology as long as
they are able to understand how to use and for what purposes they will use it.
I think that is important for students to get involved with technology since
they are very young because it will be easier for them to use it when they are grown
up. That is why for some adults are complicate to use it or to learn how to use
it because they were not taught since they were young. In these days is
important to be capable of using technology because in the majority of jobs,
employers ask or demand for the usage of technology; so the younger they are is
better.
Recently, kids are learning how to
use technology very young and are becoming experts or masters in technology
more than some adults. Before, people learn how to use some devices when they
were adults or teenagers; now, kids have access to technology and easily learn
and dominate it.
