How can we use VoiceThread in the classroom?

I think using Voice Thread in the classroom can be very useful for all the students because you can use not only show them images but you can also record the information with your voice and present it to your students. Also I was reading some information that said that this tool can be helpful if you have student with talking problems or students who are deaf that know how to use the sign language because you can use the webcam for those students. I also believe that this tool can be useful if we have a class with children because we can use it as a story-telling.
Teachers can also use this tool to make like virtual tours, for example, if your topic is "TOURISTICS PLACES" or "PLACES AROUND THE WORLD" you can show to your students the different places and can record in each picture some information about the place or you can also type it. I also think that this tool is useful not only for teacher but algo for the students, for example, if they have homework like book reports or timeline, this tool woould be ideal for those homework assigment because you can use your creativity and innovative. We can also say that VoiceThread can be use as an expository communication tool or even as an assessment tool, you can ask your students to create a VoiceThread since it is for free.

  1. What you say is really important because using voicethread students can improve their writing and speaking skills because you say they can use the webcam and the microphone to make a comment. Also it helps teachers to make the class really interesting and funny because as you say when talking about TOURISTIC PLACES or any other interesting topic we can show them images and they can comment and also find information about the topic and share it.
